You can log in using either a social login (Google, Facebook, or GitHub) or an email and password login. For added security, two-factor authentication (2FA) is required for email logins. You can choose between email authentication (the default option) and one time password (OTP) using popular authenticator apps.
To change your method of two-factor authentication, click the user icon that appears above your email address in the header navigation menu of the cloud console. You will be directed to the User Profile page.
In the section titled “Security,” check the box corresponding to your preferred authentication method.
