Yes, we offer reverse DNS lookup (rDNS) functionality to return the domain name associated with a certain IP. This can be done by contacting our technical support for assistance by creating a ticket in the Kamatera console. Please note that you will need to comply with the following requirements:
- Hosted on Kamatera: You must provide a link to the website behind the domain. The main domain (WWW) and all subdomains must reside on Kamatera’s infrastructure. You cannot use a website hosted by another provider.
- Valid Content: The website must be a full, real website. It cannot be a placeholder page (e.g., generic templates, “Coming Soon,” default Nginx/Apache landing pages, etc.).
- DNS Configuration: Ensure there is an active entry in the DNS of the domain that explicitly points to the server’s IP address.
- SSL: The websites must run with a valid SSL certificate.
- Clean History: There must be no prior abuse reports on your account.
Lastly, please note that if you are requesting the RDNS record for a mailing service, we will need to mention this to our support team and confirm that you have read our TOS (Terms of Service) and AUP (Acceptable Usage Policy) and understand that the record will be deleted if you violate them in any way.
